For us, dog care is about building a real, trusting friendship. We practice cooperative care, meaning, we take the time to learn their unique personality, quirks, and communication style, allowing us to tailor every moment to what makes them happiest.
Genesis has a Master’s degree in Social Work and a B.A. in Applied Psychology. She has over a decade of experience researching health and social disparities, and providing behavioral counseling to people of all backgrounds.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Genesis observed the increase in canine companions being welcomed into homes, coupled with the increase in canine behavioral issues due to socialization and environmental limitations. This issue refocused her career goals and passion for behavioral modification onto our beloved furry family members.
Always passionate about dogs, she began caring for them professionally to acquire a deeper understanding of their needs and their owners’ desired expectations. In 2023, Genesis and her husband founded Zoomies K9 Care, LLC.
With a focus on evidence-based practices, positive reinforcement, and force-free approaches, Genesis strives to provide your dogs with the best care possible to help them live a happy and fulfilled existence alongside their human companions.
